Mian Manazir Hussain Ranjha son of Mian Muzaffar Ali Ranjha was born upon August 15, 1954 at Havelli Mian Sher Ali. He acquired the degree of LL.B. in 1977 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. An agriculturist, that acted as Member, Zila Council Sargodha for two terms during 1979-83 and also 1983-87. He continued to be Member, Punjab Assembly throughout 1985-88, 1990-93, 1993-96 as well as 2002-07; worked as Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly during 1985-88 and also once again during 1990-93; as Acting Speaker, Punjab Assembly; as Member, PAC during 1993; as Chairman, Committee on Privileges throughout 1993-96; and also as Minister for Colonies throughout 2003-07. He took part as rep of Punjab Assembly in Commonwealth Assemblyary Association Conference held in 1992 in Trinidad, Tobago. He has been chosen for the 5th term as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general political elections 2013.
